VivaTech 2026 draws 200,000 attendees to Paris, highlights AI and global startup surge

The VivaTech 2026 exhibition in Paris attracted a record 200,000 visitors and over 15,000 startups from 165 countries. The forum served as a showcase for generative artificial intelligence, digital governance and process automation, drawing leaders from the technology and investment sectors.

Brazil’s participation was highlighted by the ApexBrasil pavilion, featuring 15 Brazilian startups focusing on AI, health tech, climate tech and Industry 5.0, and by travel‑tech firm Just Travel Tour, which sought to apply new digital tools to tourism. French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended, underscoring the event’s role in economic diplomacy. Jeff Bezos of Amazon was also present, reinforcing Paris’s status as Europe’s venture‑capital hub. A Hong Kong Tech Pavilion displayed 24 local startups, illustrating China’s aggressive push into global tech markets.
