Viviane Araújo purchases R$ 2.5 million mansion in Rio de Janeiro

Brazilian actress and Salgueiro samba school queen Viviane Araújo has purchased a R$ 2.5 million mansion in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. Due to the sale of her previous penthouse, Araújo, her husband Guilherme Militão, and their son had to move into the new three-story residence before renovations were completed.

The property features approximately 300 square meters of living space, including four bedrooms, a pool, a sauna, and a private wine cellar. Araújo has been documenting the ongoing construction process through a social media series titled “Diário de Obra”.

In addition to her recent move, Araújo was recently seen at the Acadêmicos do Salgueiro headquarters alongside her husband. The event served as a preview for the school’s 2027 Carnival theme, “Laroyê Xica da Silva: A História por Trás da História,” which aims to highlight the history and agency of Black women.
