Vivienne Westwood showcases vegan feathers at Paris Fashion Week

The luxury fashion brand Vivienne Westwood featured FEVVERS, a plant-based alternative to feathers, in its spring/summer 2027 “Body & Soul” collection during Paris Fashion Week. Creative director Andreas Kronthaler utilized the material to explore dramatic silhouettes, movement, and texture.

In collaboration with FEVVERS co-founder Nicola Woollon, the collection introduced a new “continuous trim format” for the vegan feathers. This development is intended to make the material easier to incorporate into standard fashion production processes and represents a step toward scaling the alternative for wider commercial use across the industry.
