Vivo X500 series to launch with 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset
Vivo is preparing to launch its X500 smartphone series in China, with pre-orders already available on platforms like JD.com. The series is expected to debut on September 7.
The flagship X500 Pro Max is highlighted for featuring a 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. Benchmark data from Geekbench indicates high performance, with multi-core scores exceeding 13,000. The device is expected to include a 6.83-inch or 6.85-inch BOE Q11 panel with QHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Camera specifications vary across the lineup. The standard X500 will utilize a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor. The Pro Max model is slated to feature a custom-built ‘BluePrint LightGuard 900’ sensor from Sony and Vivo, supporting 4K 240fps video recording, alongside a 200MP telephoto lens. Software features include the ‘Atomic Workbench’ for enhanced multitasking.
