Vivo to launch X500 flagship series on September 21

Vivo is set to launch its new X500 flagship smartphone series in China on September 21, 2026. The lineup will include the standard Vivo X500, the X500 Pro, and the X500 Pro Max.

The X500 Pro Max is positioned as a high-end photography device, featuring a large circular camera module, a BluePrint 900 sensor, and CIPA 7.0 stabilization. It is expected to support professional accessories such as a dedicated handgrip and detachable telephoto lenses. The Pro and Pro Max models are anticipated to utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.

The standard Vivo X500 will feature a different design with a rectangular camera plateau and is expected to include a 7,500mAh battery, a Dimensity 9600M processor, and Sony LYTIA-828 sensor technology.

Alongside the smartphones, Vivo will introduce new ecosystem products, including the Vivo Watch 6, which runs on BlueOS and features sapphire crystal glass, and the Vivo Buds Clip, which utilize an open-ear, clip-style design.
