Vivo to launch X500 series smartphones in China

Vivo is set to launch the X500 and X500 Pro smartphones in China on September 21, 2026. These devices are expected to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, which is built on 2nm technology and utilizes an octa-core processor architecture.

Leaked specifications for the high-end Vivo X500 Pro Max suggest the device will include a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a massive 7,000 mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging. The camera system is highlighted by a Sony Lytia 910 main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.

In addition to Vivo, OPPO is scheduled to release its Find X10 series, including the Find X10 Pro Max, on September 22, 2026, also utilizing the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. Recent TDRA certifications in the United Arab Emirates indicate that the X500 series may eventually see releases in international markets beyond China.
