Vivo to unveil X Fold6 and AR glasses at NEXT 2026 event

Vivo is preparing to showcase several new devices at its NEXT 2026 event in India on October 6. Key highlights include the X Fold6 foldable smartphone, which has been teased in a Nebula Teal color, and new augmented reality (AR) glasses. While it is unclear if the AR glasses are a new product or an international version of the previously released Vision Explorer Edition, the move signals the company's interest in expanding its wearable technology footprint.

Additionally, details regarding the upcoming vivo V80 have surfaced. Leaks suggest the device will feature a 6.59-inch 144Hz LTPS OLED display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and a 7,200 mAh battery. The camera system is expected to include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. In India, the V80 is rumored to start at approximately 63,000 INR for the 128GB model.
