Vivo X500 leaks reveal Dimensity 9600M chipset and 7,500 mAh battery

Leaked specifications for the upcoming Vivo X500 suggest the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chipset. This processor features an eight-core configuration with clock speeds reaching up to 4.21 GHz. The appearance of this specific chipset name marks one of the first direct indications of its existence.

Hardware leaks indicate the smartphone will feature a base configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Vivo reportedly offers memory expansion capabilities, allowing virtual RAM to reach up to 24 GB and storage to increase by up to 50 GB through compression technology. The device is also expected to include a 7,500 mAh battery.

On the imaging front, the X500 is rumored to utilize a 1/1.28-inch Sony LYTIA-828 main sensor, similar to the hardware found in the X300 Pro. This sensor is noted as being the largest main camera sensor used within Vivo’s standard X series. The camera system is expected to feature high-level stabilization with a CIPA 5.5-degree rating.
