Vivo X500 Pro Max leaks reveal massive camera module and rotating ring
Leaked images and technical specifications for the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro Max suggest a significant design shift focused on professional-grade mobile photography. The device is expected to feature a massive, circular camera module that occupies nearly the entire width of the phone's upper body. A notable addition is a physical rotating ring around the module, which may allow users to manually adjust settings such as ISO or aperture.
The camera system is rumored to include a triple-lens setup: a 50MP main sensor using Sony LOFIC technology, a 50MP ultra-wide lens from the Sony IMX8 series, and a 200MP Samsung HP0 periscope telephoto module. This telephoto lens may support a ZEISS APO Super Telephoto system and a proprietary teleconverter capable of reaching a 400mm equivalent focal length. Video capabilities are expected to include 4K recording at 240fps.
On the hardware side, the smartphone is anticipated to utilize the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9600 chipset and a 6.85-inch LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate, potentially featuring the BOE Q11 panel. The Vivo X500 series is expected to be officially unveiled in China this September.
