Vivo X500 series to debut with 2nm chip and 200MP Zeiss camera
Vivo has confirmed the September 2026 launch of its X500 flagship smartphone series in China, featuring the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. The series will debut the world's first Blue Crystal x Dimensity 2nm flagship chip, utilizing TSMC's N2P process to enhance computing power and energy efficiency for AI and imaging tasks.
The X500 Pro Max will feature a high-end Zeiss APO super telephoto camera with a 200MP Samsung HP0 sensor and a 1/1.4-inch BluePrint sensor. It supports 4x hardware-based ISZ technology, a 400mm telephoto extender, and CIPA 7.0-rated stabilization. The Pro Max is also designed for professional video, supporting 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording.
The X500 Pro will include a 64MP Zeiss APO super telephoto camera with an 85mm focal length, utilizing a Sony LYTIA 610 sensor. Both Pro models aim to deliver a dynamic range of up to 17EV through the Phantom 900 sensor, developed in collaboration with Sony and Vivo's Blueprint imaging team.
