Vjosa Osmani says her name won’t hinder Kosovo institutions and she hasn’t abandoned LDK voters

Former Kosovo president Vjosa Osmani declared that her personal name has never been and will never be an obstacle to the creation of institutions in Kosovo, adding she will protect the integrity of her work by any legal or political means. She emphasized she does not need any institutional position to serve the state’s interests.

Osmani also rejected claims that she abandoned the electorate of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), arguing that the party’s electorate drifted away in 2020 due to leadership mistakes. She affirmed she continues to uphold the promises made to LDK voters when she ran for prime minister.
