Vjosa Osmani’s parliamentary support questioned as LDK faces new criticism
In a televised interview on RTV21, political commentator Emanuel Demaj argued that President Vjosa Osmani’s stance would change if she enjoyed greater backing in the Assembly. He suggested that with more deputies, she might attempt to dismantle the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) again, a claim he linked to her perceived ego.
Demaj also raised concerns about the appointment process for members of the Kosovo Media Authority (KPM) and the public broadcaster (RTK). He accused Drita Morina of irregularities, alleging that she helped select candidates for board positions while also applying herself, calling the situation “scandalous.” The remarks highlight ongoing tensions over parliamentary representation and media governance in Kosovo.
