Vlad Cebotari disputes SIS sanctions list inclusion

Vlad Cebotari, Chairman of the Board of FLYONE, has challenged the legal basis for his inclusion and that of his family members on a list maintained by the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) regarding associations with individuals subject to international restrictive measures.

Cebotari argues that the inclusion lacks legal merit, stating that the specific criteria for such associations—such as being a beneficial owner, having common financial benefits, or shared property ownership—are not met in his case. He claims the decision was based on an insufficiently substantiated information note from an SIS officer and relies on assumptions rather than documented links.

Furthermore, Cebotari suggested that actions taken against FLYONE Moldova are part of a broader attempt to seize control of the entire group of companies. He asserted that the business's corporate structure makes a full takeover impossible.
