Vlad Trip receives diplomatic recognition for European wrestling bronze

Romanian wrestler Vlad Ioan Trip received a letter of congratulations from Minister of Foreign Affairs Oana Țoiu following his performance at the U20 European Wrestling Championships in Skopje, North Macedonia. Trip, representing LPS Bihorul Oradea, secured a bronze medal in the 55 kg Greco-Roman category.

During the competition, Trip defeated Jakub Sedlak of the Czech Republic and Maxim Sarmanov of Moldova before losing in the semifinals to Armenia's Edgar Petrosian. He secured the bronze medal by defeating France's Sos Kotanjyan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the achievement contributes to the promotion of Romania's image and values internationally.
