Vladimir Obradović elected President of IPMA World

IPMA World project management leadership election professional standards artificial intelligence

Professor Vladimir Obradović has been unanimously elected President of the International Project Management Association (IPMA World). A professor at the University of Belgrade, Obradović previously served as Vice President of the organization.

The new leadership team includes Vice Presidents Tim Jaques of the United States and Giovanni Pisano of Italy, alongside Mladen Vukomanović of Croatia as Chair of the IPMA Council of Delegates.

Under this new leadership, IPMA aims to increase its global visibility and impact by working with both the private sector and public institutions to improve the management of major infrastructure and development projects. Obradović stated that sustainability and artificial intelligence will be key priorities for the profession's future.
