Serbian President Vučić Sets Separate Dates for Parliamentary and Presidential Elections

President Aleksandar Vučić announced that Serbia will hold parliamentary and presidential elections on different dates, with the parliamentary vote expected first. The election decree is to be decided in August or September, allowing the polls to take place in October or November.

Vučić also said a new social support package will be launched in mid‑September, including a one‑off payment for pensioners and reduced costs for certain medicines. He highlighted the forthcoming anti‑corruption portal “Ko si bre ti”, to go live on 10 July at www.kosibreti.rs, where citizens can submit anonymous reports that he will read for 45–60 minutes each day.

These statements come amid preparations for the upcoming electoral cycle and aim to address both voting logistics and public concerns about corruption and social welfare.
