Vladimir Putin says new world order emerging amid conflict and competition

Russian President Vladimir Putin told members of the State Duma that the past five years have been a difficult and challenging period for Russia, and that the fate of the nation and its future are at stake. He said a new world order is taking shape amid ongoing conflict and intense competition, and that Russia remains committed to defending its security, freedom, truth and justice, including through its special military operation.

Boris Titov, Russia's special representative for Sustainable Development Goals, said in New York that Russia is beginning discussions on how global relations should be structured after 2030, emphasizing the country's strength in digital technology and essential physical sectors such as agriculture, water supply and Arctic logistics. Earlier, Federation Council Vice‑Chairman Konstantin Kosachev had stressed that changes to the world order must become visible, not merely rhetorical.
