Vladimiros Tziortzis eyes NASCAR Euro Series title after podium in Italy

Cypriot driver Vladimiros Tziortzis remains a strong contender for the NASCAR Euro Series 2026 championship following the semi-finals held at the Vallelunga circuit in Rome. Tziortzis secured a third-place finish in the first OPEN category race, marking his second podium of the season after a previous third-place finish at the Paul Ricard circuit in France.

In the second OPEN race, he finished fifth, placing him fifth overall in the category standings, just 11 points behind third place. In the V8GP category, he secured 10th and 12th place finishes, maintaining a ninth-place position in the overall standings.

With points counting double during the semi-finals and the upcoming finals, Tziortzis is preparing for the season conclusion at Circuit Zolder in Belgium, scheduled for October 17–18. He expressed gratitude to his team for overcoming weekend challenges to remain in title contention.
