Vladislav Blănuță scores first goal for Lechia Gdansk

Vladislav Blănuță has scored his first goal for Lechia Gdansk, ending a scoring drought that lasted 317 days. The striker scored in the 75th minute during a 7-1 victory against Stal Mielec in the Polish second league.

Blănuță, a former Romanian youth international, joined the Polish club a month ago from Dinamo Kiev for a transfer fee of 1.5 million euros. This move allowed Dinamo Kiev to partially recover their previous 2.6 million euro investment. Under his new contract, Blănuță earns an annual salary exceeding 500,000 euros, an increase from his previous earnings in Ukraine.

Agent Ionuț Stanciu noted that while the player received competitive offers from across Europe, the decision to join Lechia Gdansk was driven by the club's project and the desire to find a stable environment where the player could regain his form following a difficult season.
