Vladislav Veselica resigns from JANAF Management Board

Vladislav Veselica has resigned from the Management Board of Jadranski naftovod (JANAF), effective September 30, 2024. Veselica has been with the company since 2012 and has served as a board member since February 2020.

During his tenure, Veselica played a central role as a lead negotiator with key partners, including the Hungarian company MOL and Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS). He was instrumental in securing oil transport agreements with MOL and managing operations involving NIS despite US sanctions affecting the latter. Under his leadership, the company saw increases in revenue and profitability and began a transition toward renewable energy sources.

Following his departure, JANAF’s management will consist of a two-member board comprising President Stjepan Adanić and board member Ivan Barbarić. While Veselica reportedly cited personal reasons for his resignation, his exit follows a period of significant commercial negotiations for the company.
