Vlastimil Daníček to join 1. FC Slovácko Club of Legends

Vlastimil Daníček is set to become the second member of 1. FC Slovácko’s ‘Club of Legends’. The long-time captain and club icon will be honored during a match in the 11th round of the Chance Liga.

To qualify for the Club of Legends, a player must have played at least 300 competitive matches for Slovácko without playing for any other club in the Czech top flight. Daníček, a product of the club’s youth academy, meets these criteria with 385 competitive appearances and 42 goals. He was a key figure in the club’s 2022 MOL Cup victory and their subsequent European debut.

Alongside Daníček, Stanislav Hofmann will also be recognized before the match. Hofmann, who currently plays for a Brno-based rival, is also celebrated as a significant figure in the club’s modern history.
