Vlatko Miladinovski Heads 2,500‑Strong Folk Concert at Heraclea, Bitola
More than 2,500 people gathered under the open sky of the ancient Heraclea theatre in Bitola for a large‑scale folk music show. singers Vlatko Miladinovski and his brother Zlatko Miladinovski led the performance, accompanied by an orchestra of over 30 musicians. The programme featured well‑known Macedonian folk songs, with special appearances by guest artists Spasen Siljanoski, Damjan Stojanoski and Darko Stojanoski, as well as performers from Aegean Macedonia.
The audience came from Bitola and many other towns across North Macedonia, creating a choral effect as thousands sang together. The concert follows similar successful events held in Ohrid and Skopje, underscoring the enduring popularity of Macedonian traditional music and its ability to unite multiple generations in a historic setting.
