Vélez-Málaga hosts inaugural senior dinner “A los pies de la Muralla”

The Vélez-Málaga City Council will hold its first “Cena del Mayor” on Saturday, 15 August, at 21:00 in Plaza de la Constitución. The event, part of the summer programme “A los pies de la Muralla”, is designed to honour the town’s older residents and promote inter‑generational interaction. Five hundred tickets priced at €5 each will be sold from 11:00 on 10 August at the Mercado de San Francisco, with sales ending when tickets run out.

After the dinner, a free public concert featuring copla singers Sergio Pérez “El Cindindi”, Álvaro Alcaide and Natalia Moralo will take place in the same square, open to all citizens.
