Vélez-Málaga motorcycle accident kills two on A-7 highway

Two people, a 21-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, died following a motorcycle accident on the A-7 highway near Vélez-Málaga. The collision occurred at approximately 18:10 hours at kilometer 951 when the motorcycle struck a guardrail.

Emergency services, including the 061 Health Emergency Center, the Guardia Civil, and local firefighters, responded to the scene. A helicopter was deployed to assist with the incident.

Later that evening, around 20:45, a second traffic accident occurred in Vélez-Málaga on Calle Cristo del Cerro. This collision involved two cars, one of which fell into a ravine with four occupants inside. Five individuals, ranging in age from 21 to 66, were treated by medical personnel and evacuated to the Hospital de La Axarquía. No fatalities were reported in this second incident.
