Vlora International Airport administration stays under Valon Adem after Supreme Court rejects Pacolli appeal

Albania's High Court dismissed a further appeal by businessman Behgjet Pacolli and his company Mabco Constructions, confirming the appointment of Vegim Hoxha as administrator of the Vlora International Airport concession. The ruling leaves the airport's management in the hands of Valon Adem's 2A Group, which already controls the concessionaire.

Mabco Constructions issued a statement contesting media reports, clarifying that the court's decision relates only to a procedural appeal concerning a security measure and does not affect the company's 98% ownership stake or its control over the airport.

The court also upheld earlier decisions that restore Mabco's voting rights and reject the request to limit the administrator's powers, keeping the existing governance structure of the airport unchanged.
