VLS announces autumn fish harvesting events in Czech Republic

The Military Forests and Estates of the Czech Republic (VLS) has scheduled two major autumn fish harvesting events. The first will take place at the Dolany pond near Boletice on Saturday, October 24, from 8:00 to 16:00. Visitors can observe fishermen at work and participate in various activities, including forest pedagogy for children and the sale of fresh fish and organic beef.

The second major harvest is set for Wednesday, November 11, at the Hořejší Padrť pond in the Brdy region. This event will begin at 7:00, with public fish sales occurring between 9:00 and 13:00 at the Velká chata na Padrti area. Additional sales will continue at the Mirošov hatcheries on Friday. Both events offer opportunities to purchase traditional fish species directly from VLS production.
