VMOS S.A. raises US$ 233.6 million in debut bond issuance

VMOS S.A. has successfully completed its debut corporate bond issuance in the local market, raising US$ 233.6 million. The offering was significantly oversubscribed, receiving bids for more than double the initial target of US$ 100 million. This transaction marks the second-largest corporate dollar-denominated debt debut in the local market.

The bonds carry a 48-month maturity period with an annual interest rate of 6.25%. The funds are intended to support the development of large-scale energy infrastructure, specifically an oil pipeline and the Punta Colorada terminal designed to transport oil from the Vaca Muerta basin to the Atlantic coast in Río Negro.

The project, which has an estimated total cost of US$ 3,000 million, has already reached 80% physical progress. The consortium behind the project includes major shale operators such as YPF, Vista, Pan American Energy, Pampa Energía, Pluspetrol, and Chevron. The initiative is being developed within the framework of the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI) to ensure economic and regulatory stability.
