VMRO-DPMNE accuses ruling parties of judicial corruption

The political party VMRO-DPMNE has issued strong criticisms against the ruling SDSM and DUI parties, alleging that the Macedonian judicial system has been compromised by political influence. The party claims that judges and prosecutors are acting to protect individuals close to the ruling parties rather than upholding the law, citing specific cases such as the 167 million euro Mazut case, investigations into modular hospital procurement involving Venko Filipce, and the overturned verdict regarding the Laskarci incident.

VMRO-DPMNE further accused Venko Filipce and Zoran Zaev of betraying national interests and profiting personally from political decisions, including the country's name change. The opposition alleges that while the state's healthcare system has declined, political figures have enriched themselves through various international investments and business interests. The party asserts that these actions have eroded public trust in the judiciary to a level of only 2% and called for an independent and impartial legal system.
