The VMRO-DPMNE party has released economic data claiming that average salaries and pensions in North Macedonia are growing at a faster rate under their current government compared to the previous SDS-DUI administration.

According to the party, average salaries rose from approximately 40,900 denars in July 2024 to over 49,500 denars by May 2026, representing an increase of about 8,600 denars over 23 months. This equates to an average monthly growth of more than 370 denars. In contrast, the party states that during the SDS-DUI period from June 2017 to May 2024, the average monthly salary growth was roughly 220 denars.

Regarding pensions, VMRO-DPMNE reports that average old-age pensions increased from approximately 22,850 denars in July 2024 to over 29,700 denars in May 2026. This represents a monthly increase of about 300 denars. The party contrasts this with the previous administration, which they claim saw an average monthly pension increase of only 90 denars.
