VMRO-DPMNE leads first round of Brvenica local elections

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Stojanco Radicevski has secured a significant lead in the first round of the early local elections for the mayor of Brvenica. According to VMRO-DPMNE representatives, the party achieved a margin of approximately 4 to 1 over the SDS candidate.

Ljupcho Prendzov, a VMRO-DPMNE MP, stated that the second round will feature a contest between Radicevski, whom he described as a candidate dedicated to local development and infrastructure, and the DUI candidate. Prendzov characterized the DUI candidate as a political asset for Ali Ahmeti, suggesting the candidacy is an attempt by Ahmeti to return to the political scene.

Mile Lefkov, also representing VMRO-DPMNE, criticized the SDS response to the election results, accusing the party of attempting to manipulate public perception of their fourth-place finish.
