VMRO-DPMNE criticizes Krivogashtani municipal administration
The VMRO-DPMNE political party has issued a critique of the local government in Krivogashtani, North Macedonia, marking one year since Igor Karaviloski assumed the role of mayor. Aleksandar Bogdanoski, president of the VMRO-DPMNE Krivogashtani local committee, stated that the SDS-led administration has failed to address long-standing issues.
Key grievances include severe water supply problems, where the main pipeline frequently breaks due to defects, and reports that water is often unfit for drinking. Bogdanoski noted that approximately 40 percent of the population has never been connected to the municipal water source. He also highlighted that despite campaign promises to bring water from Studenica to Krivogashtani, no concrete plans or measures have been implemented.
Additionally, the party cited concerns regarding blocked municipal accounts, debts, neglected infrastructure, and financially struggling schools and utility companies.
