VMRO-DPMNE's Petruševski criticizes Levica party over political morality

VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petruševski has criticized the Levica party, accusing them of acting as "moral arbiters" while failing to demonstrate meaningful contributions to North Macedonia.

The dispute arose following comments made by Dragan Kovački regarding the backgrounds of SDSM officials. Petruševski defended Kovački, highlighting his military education in Croatia and London, his service in the "Wolves" special unit, and his participation in the 2001 conflict and international missions.

Petruševski challenged Levica's leadership, specifically mentioning their leader, Apasiev, noting his background as a state university professor and associate of the Special Prosecutor's Office. He questioned whether Levica's leaders have worked in the private sector or if they primarily benefit from state salaries and privileges while engaging in populism.
