Lâm Đồng stabbing incident leaves restaurant owner dead

A fatal stabbing occurred at a goat hotpot restaurant in Nhân Cơ commune, Lâm Đồng province, on September 7. The suspect, Vy Đức Nghĩa (48), reportedly attacked the restaurant owner, Hồ Thị K. (41), and another man, Nguyễn Ngọc A. (39), following a dispute involving emotional issues and financial disagreements.

According to local authorities, Nghĩa used a knife to stab both victims before attempting suicide by stabbing himself in the abdomen and consuming pesticide. The restaurant owner, Ms. K., succumbed to her injuries at a nearby clinic. Both the suspect and the other victim, Mr. A., were rushed to Đắk Nông General Hospital in serious condition. Police are currently investigating the incident.
