VNPT Technology launches Wi-Fi 7 Mesh system for smart homes

VNPT Technology has introduced a new generation of the VNPT Mesh system designed to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones in large or multi-story living spaces. By connecting multiple routing nodes into a unified network, the system allows users to move between rooms without connection interruptions.

The technology integrates XGSPON optical technology and the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard into its Gateway devices, such as the iGate series. According to Nguyen Viet Bang, Deputy General Director of VNPT Technology, this combination supports bandwidth speeds of up to 10 Gbps, catering to high-demand activities like 4K streaming and gaming.

Key technical improvements include a 75% reduction in latency compared to Wi-Fi 6 and the ability to automatically synchronize mesh nodes upon being powered on. The system is also capable of supporting up to 16 simultaneous surveillance cameras and various IoT devices without network congestion.
