Vocational training and education developments in Germany
Germany is seeing new developments in vocational training and education. In Osnabrück, the new BerufsOrientierungsZentrum (BOZ) is set to officially open on October 28, 2026. The center serves as a regional meeting platform designed to connect students with companies to address the shortage of skilled workers. Through ten different thematic worlds, the BOZ will present over 120 training occupations, offering a practical approach where young people can experience various career paths firsthand.
Meanwhile, in Böhlen, the Berufliche Schulzentrum (BSZ) Leipziger Land is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Since its inception two decades ago, the institution has become a significant educational hub in the Leipziger Land region. The school focuses on combining practical training with regional networking to prepare students for the modern working world.
