Vocational training initiatives launched in Valencia and Granollers

Labora, the Valencian Employment and Training Service, has introduced the Eurodisea program, offering paid professional internships abroad for young job seekers. The initiative is designed for individuals aged 18 to 35 who hold a university degree or a Vocational Training (FP) qualification. The program aims to enhance professional experience, improve language skills, and increase employment opportunities by fostering internationalization.

Currently, internship destinations include Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Italy, Portugal, and Romania, with upcoming additions from France, Belgium, Wales, and Macedonia. Labora will present the program at the Universitat Politècnica de València during the ‘Plaça Europa 2026’ event in December.

In Granollers, the City Council has launched the Dual FP Accelerator, a digital platform intended to connect local businesses with educational centers. The platform allows companies to request apprentices from various vocational training cycles, covering 47 different programs across seven professional sectors, including ICT, chemistry, and logistics. The project is managed by Granollers Mercat to facilitate the integration of students into the labor market.
