Vocational training programs drive personal growth in Turkey
Various vocational training programs in Turkey are facilitating personal development and economic independence for citizens. In Buca, Özlem Deniz completed culinary courses provided by the Buca Municipality, leading her to open her own restaurant, ‘Mavi Sofra’.
In Isparta, 77-year-old Rahime Öztunç enrolled in a welding course at the Keçiborlu Public Education Center to gain the skills necessary to manage her own home and garden maintenance.
Additionally, in Batman, Rahime Ulaş transitioned from a housewife to a master instructor. After participating in handicrafts courses at a Family Support Center, she obtained professional certification and has spent the last five years teaching traditional arts to other women.
