Vocational training programs expand in Fasano, Rome, and Viterbo

Vocational and professional training programs are expanding in Italy, offering students practical alternatives to traditional high schools and universities.

In Fasano, the Istruzione e Formazione Professionale (Ie FP) system provides a three-year program totaling 3,200 hours. This path allows students up to age 18 to fulfill their compulsory education requirements by combining general cultural studies with increasing periods of on-site internships. Upon completion, students earn an EQF 3 European qualification, which facilitates further studies or entry into the workforce.

Additionally, ITSSIxellence has opened enrollment for free ITS courses for the 2026-2028 period in Rome and Viterbo. These two-year programs consist of 1,000 classroom hours and 800 internship hours. The curriculum focuses on technical and operational skills taught by industry professionals, leading to an EQF 5 higher technical diploma. Available tracks in Rome include Digital Strategy, Sports Marketing and Management, and Business Administration and Management.
