Vocational Training specialization in Basque Country and Navarre

Vocational Training (FP) specialization courses are emerging as a key method for technical professionals to keep pace with rapid industrial evolution in the Basque Country and Navarre. These official, short-term programs focus on high-demand skills such as collaborative robot programming, predictive maintenance, industrial cybersecurity, and data analysis.

Under the new vocational training system, these studies are classified as Grade E. They complement existing qualifications through programs lasting between 300 and 900 hours. Depending on the previous level of study, graduates receive different titles: those completing a course linked to a Middle Grade receive the title of Specialist, while those linked to a Higher Grade receive an official Vocational Training Master's degree.

Access to these courses is not automatic; specific prior qualifications are required for each specialty. For instance, maintenance digitalization specializations typically require backgrounds in mechatronics, automation, or electronic maintenance.
