Voci d’Europa polyphonic music festival held in Sardinia

The 43rd edition of the international polyphonic music festival “Voci d’Europa” is taking place across various locations in Sardinia, featuring a blend of local traditions and international choral excellence.

In Monteleone Rocca Doria, the festival will be held at “La Rocca dei Doria” on September 5. The event includes outdoor performances in the town square by the Coro de Iddanoa Monteleone and the Coro Lorenzo Perosi di Dorgali, followed by concerts in the historic Church of Sant’Antonio featuring the Hic et Nunc choir from Cagliari and the Slovenian-Italian ensemble Vikra from Trieste.

In Porto Torres, the festival visits the Basilica of San Gavino on September 4. The program includes an opening performance by the Coro Boghes Noas di Ossi and the Coro de Iddanoa Monteleone. The main concert inside the basilica will feature the award-winning Coro Vikra of Trieste and the Coro Polifonico di Ruda, a prominent male vocal ensemble.
