All Blacks defeat Bulls 50-19 in final South Africa tour warm-up
The All Blacks secured a dominant 50-19 victory over the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, marking their third consecutive win on the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Tour in South Africa. New Zealand established a commanding 24-0 lead by halftime, fueled by two tries each from wingers Josh Moorby and Leroy Carter, as well as two from captain Codie Taylor.
While the Bulls mounted a more competitive response in the second half, scoring three tries through Ruan Vermaak, Stravino Jacobs, and Marcell Coetzee, they could not overcome the early deficit. The All Blacks' performance included strong contributions from Rieko Ioane and Wallace Sititi, while flanker Anton Segner was noted for an influential defensive display.
This victory serves as the final warm-up for New Zealand before their four-match Test series against the Springboks, beginning next Saturday in Johannesburg. Head coach Dave Rennie noted that while the scoreline was positive, there is still room for improvement in execution and discipline ahead of the high-intensity matches against the world champions.
