Vodafone earns third consecutive EcoVadis Platinum medal

Vodafone Group has been awarded a Platinum medal by EcoVadis, an international sustainability rating platform, for the third consecutive time. The company achieved a score of 88 out of 100, placing it in the top 1% of all companies evaluated and above the global telecommunications industry average.

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates four key themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Vodafone improved its score from 80 in 2023 to 88 in 2026, reflecting advancements in its corporate policies, certifications, and reporting.

Key areas of improvement include investments in workforce development, such as career planning, internal mobility, and wellbeing programs covering mental and physical health. Additionally, the company has strengthened its sustainable procurement processes, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria across its network of more than 8,500 suppliers.
