Vodafone Idea launches free Spotify Premium for postpaid users in India

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has partnered with Spotify to offer its postpaid subscribers three months of complimentary Spotify Premium. The benefit, available through the Vi app, applies to eligible customers on selected postpaid plans ranging from ₹451 to ₹1,401 per month. After the free period, users can continue the service via Vi’s “Add to Bill” option at ₹139 per month.

Vi’s Chief Marketing Officer Avneesh Khosla said the deal enhances the digital experience for customers, while Spotify India Managing Director Amarjit Batra noted it makes premium streaming more accessible and adds long‑term value for creators. This is the first telco‑Spotify partnership in India, joining similar bundles offered by rival operators Jio and Airtel.
