Vodafone Portugal and Prosegur Alarms partner for security services

Vodafone Portugal and Prosegur Alarms have entered into a strategic partnership to launch an integrated security and connectivity solution. The joint offering will be marketed through Vodafone’s commercial channels, allowing both existing and new customers to subscribe to Prosegur Alarms’ monitored security services alongside Vodafone’s connectivity services.

The collaboration targets the expanding residential security market, which is seeing annual growth of 4% to 5% due to the increasing adoption of digital communication technologies. Under the agreement, Vodafone will manage the commercialization of the offer, while Prosegur Alarms will be responsible for service delivery, including installation, permanent monitoring, and specialized support.

Luís Lopes, CEO of Vodafone Portugal, stated that the partnership reflects the company’s ambition to expand its service ecosystem into areas such as security, following previous moves into health and energy. Carlos Capel, General Director of Prosegur Alarms in Portugal, noted that the partnership aligns with a strategy to implement an operational model focused on sustainable growth within the Portuguese market.
