Vodafone praised for top network in Portugal while planning Finetwork relaunch in Spain

Vodafone Portugal was named the operator with the best mobile and fixed‑line network in the country by the independent analyst firm P3 Communications. The assessment, based on real‑world measurements of data performance, call reliability, coverage and readiness for AI‑driven services, placed Vodafone ahead of rivals MEO, NOS and DIGI, giving it scores of 8.241 for mobile and 8.441 for fixed broadband.

In Spain, Vodafone is preparing to reactivate the Finetwork brand and introduce new tariff packages. The move follows the withdrawal of network‑rental payments by Wewi Mobile in early 2025, which threatened Finetwork’s operations. By taking full control of the brand, Vodafone aims to preserve its market value, settle outstanding debts exceeding €50 million, and avoid further legal disputes, while launching advertising campaigns to support the relaunch.
