Vodafone raises router fees, drops €100 welcome bonus in Germany
Effective 26 July, Vodafone Germany increased the monthly rental price for its Vodafone Station router from €3.99 to €4.99 and raised the Ultra Hub 7 cable router fee from €4.99 to €5.99. The EasyBox 805 and Ultra Hub 7 models for fiber connections also see a €1 per month increase. Purchase prices for these routers have been lifted by €20 each.
At the same time, the company eliminated the €100 “App‑welcome” bonus that previously rewarded new fixed‑line customers who registered their contract via the MeinVodafone app. New customers can still receive a €50 cashback on the GigaZuhause 50 cable and DSL tariffs, both priced at €29.99 per month for a 24‑month term, and the Vodafone Station is offered rent‑free for the first 24 months under these plans.
