Vodafone rolls out 14.99 € unlimited 5G plan as European phone discounts surge
Vodafone has re‑introduced its Unlimited Advanced plan for 14.99 € per month, offering unlimited 5G data capped at 50 Mbit/s, an all‑networks voice and SMS flat‑rate and no activation fee. The deal, aimed at Freenet customers, reflects a broader trend of aggressive mobile‑operator promotions in Germany.
At the same time, Vodafone is running a limited‑time Galaxy S26 discount, pricing the flagship device at a €1 upfront payment with up to €300 trade‑in bonus. MediaMarkt is selling the Samsung Galaxy A16 for 99 € in Brazil, while Amazon lists the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G at a record low of 315 € in Germany, limited to a single colour.
Other German providers are also enhancing value: Lidl Connect doubled the data allowance in its €4.99 Smart XS prepaid plan from 1 GB to 2 GB, and Penny Mobil and ja!mobil now give 5G access to their €4.99 basic prepaid tariff, raising peak speeds to 50 Mbit/s. These coordinated offers highlight competitive pricing across carriers and retailers for mid‑range and flagship smartphones.
Overall, German consumers can expect lower entry costs for both devices and data services, while the Brazilian market sees a notable price cut on a budget Samsung model.
