Vodafone sports offers expire as electricity complaints rise

Vodafone is concluding a promotional period for sports content, specifically targeting DAZN subscribers. The current offers, which include discounted rates for football and other sports for the first 12 months, are set to expire on August 31. For example, the DAZN Football plan is available for 14.99 euros per month, representing a 5-euro monthly reduction from the standard 19.99 euro price.

Separately, the Electricity Consumer Protection Office (Protecom) has reported a rise in consumer complaints regarding electricity billing. In the first half of 2026, Protecom received 29,833 complaints. This follows a significant upward trend from previous years, with 90,589 complaints recorded in 2025 compared to 78,461 in 2024. Data shows a peak in complaints during the April-May period of 2026, with June 2026 seeing the highest volume of complaints in the first semester.
