Vodafone UK launches SuperMobile priority data service

Vodafone UK has introduced a new service called SuperMobile, which allows customers to pay for prioritized mobile network access. The service utilizes network slicing technology to provide a dedicated segment of the network to subscribers.

Customers using SuperMobile can access data speeds up to four times faster on 5G+ (5G Standalone) networks and twice as fast on standard 5G and 4G networks. The service includes a guaranteed minimum data speed of 15 Mbit/s; if speeds consistently fall below this threshold, customers are permitted to terminate their contracts without penalty.

The priority access is capped at 600 GB of data per month, after which users revert to standard network treatment. Vodafone also notes that connecting via 5G+ can reduce device energy consumption by up to 25%. The service carries an additional monthly cost ranging from £3 to £12, depending on the user's existing plan.
