Vodní ráj in Jihlava opens new sauna world and toddler pool

The Vodní ráj water park in Jihlava is expanding its facilities with the opening of a new ‘Saunový svět’ (Sauna World) and a dedicated pool for infants and toddlers. The expansion is scheduled to open on Friday, September 25, at 11:00 AM.

The new sauna area includes a variety of options such as a Finnish sauna, a salt sauna, and an aroma oasis. A central feature is a large panoramic ceremonial sauna capable of accommodating up to 60 people, which will host organized sauna ceremonies. The facility also offers outdoor relaxation areas, including a terrace with a hot tub, a cooling pool, and a small stainless steel pool with a depth of 1.2 meters designed for young children and water exercises.

The project is financed by Služby města Jihlavy through a loan. According to Jihlava Mayor Petr Ryška, the city has committed to contributing 6 million CZK annually for ten years, totaling 60 million CZK, to support the expansion. The new amenities aim to provide enhanced relaxation, regeneration, and family-friendly options for the region.
